Preparing the Treatment Room

Before a patient enters a treatment room, all surfaces — including the dental chair, dental light, drawer handles, and countertops — are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected. When applicable, protective barrier covers are placed over equipment and replaced for each patient, preventing contact with any portion of the dental equipment between appointments.

Personal Protective Equipment

All dental staff involved in patient care wear gloves, masks, gowns, and eyewear as needed. Gloves and masks are disposable and discarded after each appointment or when leaving the room. Hands are washed thoroughly before donning new gloves. We also follow strict personal hygiene guidelines to ensure a sanitary experience for every patient.

Instrument Sterilization

All non-disposable dental instruments are cleaned and sterilized after each appointment and packaged to remain sterile until next use. Our sterilizer is checked weekly to ensure its accuracy and efficacy. Disposable instruments, tools, and needles are never reused and are discarded immediately after the appointment.

Advanced Aerosol & Airborne Particle Control

Elite Dental Center uses Isolite Dental Isolation technology, which uses negative pressure within the oral cavity to reduce aerosols and airborne particles — keeping bacteria, viruses, and saliva out of the air. For particles that do enter the air, we have multiple HEPA H13 air purifiers throughout the office and in every treatment room. HEPA H13 filters remove 99.9% of particles down to 0.1 microns, ensuring you step into a consistently healthy environment.
