New and Established Patient Exams:

As a new patient, you will receive a comprehensive oral examination that includes an oral cancer screening, periodontal measurements, jaw and TMJ assessment and tooth-by-tooth evaluation. This will include taking necessary X-ray images and completing a full mouth periodontal probing. Using the latest dental technology, your X-ray images will be assessed by our doctors and additionally integrated into AI technology, and our doctors/hygienists will utilize intraoral cameras to review areas of concern with you chairside. Where appropriate, we may also take a 3D scan of your teeth to record comprehensive concerns, as well as use the visualization benefits to better discuss these concerns with you. Our goal is for you to fully understand the status of your oral health, and feel comfortable and confident in any treatment needs. Once this assessment is complete, if we feel a general cleaning is appropriate, that will also be completed at your initial visit. 

**For new patients, please anticipate being at our office for about 90 minutes. This includes our request that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to ensure paperwork, dental insurance information and health history is complete.  Your cleaning and exam will take about 60 minutes.

As an established patient, along with your cleaning you will continue to receive an oral cancer screening, periodontal measurements of the gums (once a year), jaw and TMJ assessment and tooth-by-tooth evaluation. AI technology will continue to be used as the doctors assess any new X-ray images (typically taken yearly), and use intraoral cameras and 3D scanning regularly as we discuss any changes we see occurring. Your established patient appointments will take about 60 minutes.
