Porcelain Veneers and Cosmetic Restorations in Arlington

Porcelain veneers are made for minimally prepared teeth, so much of your natural tooth structure is left intact. Veneers can be placed on single teeth for localized concerns, or to create a larger smile change in terms of shape and color of the teeth. For teeth with pre-existing conditions like an existing filling, crack or significant wear, a porcelain partial- or full-crown may be indicated as part of your cosmetic plan.

Once an initial discussion has occurred, the dentists at Elite Dental will often create a SmileSimulation which depicts different smile outcomes so a patient can better visualize the options available and what they may prefer in their porcelain restorations. From there, a lab fabricated mock-up can be created based on the desired simulation. These mock-ups can be used to place a removable material over the teeth so patients can visualize the intended changes in their own mouth, and during the temporization phase once the teeth have been prepared so patients can try out the changes in real life.
